The Little Flower Preparatory School a Christian minority school an ancillary to St. Anthony's Higher Secondary School, Bichna was established at Bichna, District-Khunti on 15th April 2008, after the Foundation Stone of the building was blessed and laid on 30th January 2007 by His Grace Most Rev.Stephen M.Tiru, the Bishop of Khunti.

It was our long awaited desire to take our school expertise of English medium education, gained at Ranchi to the Rural Sector to facilitate our rural children to benefit from the same.Hence the idea to bring them to the main stream of the country's development.Being trained in Anthropological studies the Founder Principal of St.Anthony's School, Doranda, Ranchi has had very strong conviction that like any other children from non-tribal groups our children, too, have equal learning capacity provided they are given proper environment. This was also another reason to bring this type of institution into this area the rural set-up.

Therefore we set our eyes on this face and decided to bear up all the if and buts,like; financial strains and the local community's slow response etc. however, the Primary School began to function regularly from 21st of April, 2008. At last our conviction was strengthened with the local population's response and trust.It is a hopeful sign.

It is a feeder school to the St. Anthony's Higher Secondary School, Assisi Suku Jidan, Bichna which shall be affiliated to the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination(CISCE), New Delhi in the very near future.

The L.F.P. School will run Classes from Nursery to Std.Prep and after completing Std.Prep, the children can be considered for admission into St.Anthony's Higher Secondary School where they can continue and also pass out Plus II.
