Parents are strongly discouraged to request for promotion but are strongly encouraged to teach their child to earn the promotion.


Children form Std. I to Std. V are evaluated on the basis of 4(four) Periodical Tests which are generally conducted at the end of each month.The test results will be notified to the parents between the second week and third week of the following month.After reading through the report card the parents are requested to put their signature in the specified column before returning it to the class teacher by the date specified by the class teacher.The test note books are also sent home for your perusal and acknowledgement.Kindly see that the test corrections are completed by your ard sincerely before returning it to the teacher by the due date given.The child could lose marks anywhere from 5 to 10 marks form the next test if this is not followed.

Children from Std.VI to Std.X are evaluated on the basis of weekly Unit tests and two terminal examinations namely the mid-term exam and the final exams.However, equal stress is also given to the everyday performance of the child in the class.Children should be encouraged to study regularly at home.This will result in an enhanced performance of the child in test/examination.The consolidated results of each cycle of Unit test will be sent to you in a Progress Report card-Unit Tests.Kindly go through it and acknowledge it in the respective column and return the card by the due date.

Test note books of your children are sent to you for your perusal and acknowledgement.Signature of both parents must appear at the end of each test, preferably with your constructive observation, kindly see that your wards has sincerely done the test corrections before returning it to the teacher by the due date.

Marks between 5 to 10 could be deducted for non-compliance of the above guideline.

The child must have a minimum of 90% attendance of the total no. of working days in each term on order to be eligible to appear in the mid term and the final term examination respectively.

Promotion is liable to be refused for children obtaining less than 40% in any minor subject and less than 50% in any major subject, calculated as average of the unit test and two terminal examinations or average of the five periodical test whichever is applicable.

If a child obtains 'D' grade in S.U.P.W he/she will be detained.

No child should remain absent during periodical/unit tests and terminal examination for reasons which are not cogent. Undue absence will have no claim over promotion.If a child is absent due to illness the guardians must produce a medical certificate to this effect.There is no provision of Re-test however, until and unless the situation demands it

If a child has failed consecutively for two years, he/she will be issued a T.C.Parents are requested to clear all dues in the school office before taking the T.C.

PRINCIPAL'S DECISION REGARDING PROMOTION OR DETENTION IS FINAL
